Along the Danube island there are many small house boats with nets tethered. I don’t know their story, but in the summer they look really sweet.. Now they seem to be uninhabited, but I’m not sure if that’s the case, or if I just didn’t see anyone…

Me in a nutshell
I was born and raised in Norway, in several villages and small towns. In 2005 I moved to New Zealand, where I completed a Master in Tourism at Victoria University in Wellington. My heart still belongs to New Zealand, but my family and connections in Europe led me to take a job that I was offered in Vienna in 2010. So, now I'm Viennese, for as long as my PhD (also in Tourism) will take me. After that I don't know where I'll go. My passions in life are music, photography, plants (I'm getting better at understanding them!), fluffy things and food. And using my brain. I like that too.

I don’t know their story as well but during summer most of them are inhabited and people use the nets for fishing
. During winter time they are non-inhabited. I have always wanted to have a house boat for myself as it seems exciting and adventerous for me

although these don’t seem to travel much… During summer I see people barbecuing, having small intimate parties, or just enjoying sunshine on them… Have to make a friends with a house boat I think!
