  1. I am not sure if I would give the local Nazis so much credit and assume they know subtle differences in symbolism. The swastika in Austrian-German culture has been pretty much monopolized by people with a certain political orientation, regardless of the degree of rotation. Then again, maybe there are some sprayers who try to disseminate the peaceful variation, who knows. Then again there is the 88, even though in a different color… Oh, the mysteries of graffiti πŸ™‚

  2. Looks charming… and interesting comments on the swastika – I’ve seen it scrawled at all angles, even back to front. It always makes me shudder!

    • True, I suppose it is a bit hard for people to know which way it is supposed to be drawn. But I think you people are right, everyone here in Europe that draw it on a building or wall, do it for the wrong reasons no matter which way they put it up. :-/

  3. on their page: “We are just a short 4-minute walk away from the Westbahnhof train station, ideally located in between the SchΓΆnbrunn Palace and the Old Town.”

that’s true – take tram 58 – visit the “technical museum” – then – Schoenbrunn Castle – and at the endstop you can change to bus 53B to my place πŸ™‚
