Apparently the elephants in the zoo get to munch on some of the trees, and the rest goes into the waste incinerator and heats people’s homes.
Have you noticed that every year (that might be an exaggeration, but it feels like every year), right when people have dumped their trees, we have a big storm that blows the trees all over the place?
Lol – I think I haven’t noticed. 🙂 Where I come from it’s actually windy, whereas here everyone complains if there is a breeze. I’m probably never going to notice a Viennese storm. 😀
It would be quite a sad sight all those dumped Christmas trees

Hmm. To me it just means Christmas has ended. Which is a bit sad. 😛

Funny I never thought that this would be a problem, but clearly there is a lot to be removed. Where do they take them all? To a mill?

I haven’t got the foggiest. Though I would imagine they all end up as something useful in the end…. hm..

I think it’s rather sad to see the poor abandoned trees! We have a living tree in a pot and he comes in for Christmas but now he’s back outside again!
