On my way home this evening. 🙂
It smells like sinful yummy takeaway….
This morning I made a detour to pick up some flower box mounts that I was gifted through the Facebook group “Wien Share and Care” (a handy exchange market where people give away things they don’t need or search for things they do need), so I made a detour through Handelskai. There is a daily market there, and although they were still setting up I managed to get two apples and an orange for today. For 80 cents. 🙂
I don’t often get this view. 🙂
With my work coming to an absolute peak nowadays, I’m actually not venturing out much. Or doing much of anything else but work.. and as I’m sure you would not enjoy pictures of my laptop, my cup of tea, the view through my window, and the pile of papers on my desk, I have stepped down from daily posting. I may still post whenever I do something outside… I promise to return once my degree is complete, even if that is three months away. Please forgive me!
Update: I passed my final big test on Friday 24/7, and am now aiming to finish the degree by October this year. It’s been a LONG journey, I can say that much!! And it’s still not over…
I’m sorry about the shortness of posts lately… About two months to finish my phd thesis, and I need every day. This was taken bright and early on my way to work! It’s on the edge of the 16th and 8th, and is usually quite busy with commuters zooming through on trams, buses and on the Ubahn.
By Nussdorferstrasse. I really like the Stadtbogen on the Gürtel. They’re classy, old red brick.
Times are hectic. I went out to the 14th today to get mod podge, and found these lovelocks on the Baumgartner bridge. Cute 🙂
Two weeks ago when we still had a bit of snow I took this photo of the tourists that were admiring the view from Kahlenberg.
You can just see the ‘Vienna skyview’ peeking up over the roof of the Rathaus. I have yet to go up in it…
… Are happy to see the sun. Sometimes we are right on the same page as the animals.
I know this feeling. 🙂
It’s the first I’ve seen of spring. Happy! As I’m walking to work once a week I’m hoping to see it coming slowly. 🙂
Sometimes it’s tempting to stop and sit for a while…
