A respectable garden, if a little boring. I much prefer gardens where you are allowed to step on the grass!
I love this open air food court that opens every summer. To me it’s as close as you get in Europe to my beloved food courts and bustling streets of Singapore, that seem to be open 24/7 all year.
Actually the best price at tbe Markt, don’t be fooled to go far towards the back! I paid 2.90 per 100g for Rooibus at a shop far in the back, but here it only costs 2.40! Lesson learned.
I finally noticed it, walking up Favoritenstraße with Alex one evening. I always assumed that it was made up of all the street vendors, but it’s a whole and proper market! 😀
Here they are! I saw them outside the Oper, which incidentally hosts the event that these lights promote. 🙂
Love is in the air.
The last three days we’ve seen it all. Sun, clouds, thunderstorms.. And usually all within the same day. I managed to swing by the shop between the showers. Columbusplatz in the 10th.
These popped up all over town yesterday. I’m sure there will be a lot more before the contest in ten days!
This was a long train. I somehow made it home with the bicycle even though I am sick. No time for being sick now…
Just yesterday evening. 🙂
I love the way Luftikus, this ride here looks. Be it in daylight, dusk or dark!
The tents are already up! Tomorrow the festival kicks off with a lot of awesome food and drink from all over Austria. Yum!
I like this place. It’s very nice to sit outside here in the summer, under the trees.
It looks rather glorious, as if it had the most splendid past. And it did. Built in 1902, it became a dear haunt for many of the city’s artist and intellectuals. The interior is original from the 50s and 60s.
In 2014 someone stole the baby penguin, so now the mother is standing there alone…
