Still working hard. But I need to take time to get fit, so here is a photo from my morning walk to Kahlenberg.
Stopped by Popfest today, hoping to catch some nice Austrian bands. The mood was good.
We didn’t end up staying very long, but I would recommend you to check it out if you’re in town tonight or tomorrow. 🙂
I saw this on my way up Favoritenstraße the other day. Kind of thought they should have looked at it from all angles before deciding to leave it as is…. But at least it’s entertaining. 😀
I guess they have to reshoot the scene? Anyway, they’re back! Anyone going celebrity stalking on Wednesday? 😀
Went to check this out last night for the first time, turned out it was the last night!
The screen was at Karlsplatz, so we had a nice view while waiting for the dark.
We saw “To be or not to be” from 1942. It was very enjoyable!!
The ring was filled with these guys today, thus interrupting operation of the D-line. But at least it made my walk interesting!!
So many motorbikes…
The signs telling people not to cross the tracks really remind me of WW2 or some sad and authoritarian society, I think just because of the style. Heavy concrete, dark orderly letters, dirt… Also the fact that it’s VERBOTEN (forbidden). O_O
I’m a bit late with this… We saw these guys buzzing along the tramline at Schwedenplatz on Friday night. Looks like a cool, albeit scary way of seeing the city 😀
Hope you all had a good weekend!!
So quiet and free of tourists. Edited with Instagram (eeek!)
I was a bit surprised at how busy the Ubahn was today after 10pm. I’m never out at this time…
Just a photo of this lovely old building in Grinzing today. It says 1857 on the front of it, if I remember correctly. I’m off to Belgium for a conference… Wish me luck!
