Yesterday I made the most of the awesome weather and checked out one of the Stadtwanderwege that I so far have neglected.
Starting and ending in Stammersdorf, it has always seemed so far away. But the streets in this part of town are super cute.

There was some uphill walking, but less than the Kahlenberg walk. Wiews were found anyway. 🙂
The walk took me about 2 hours and 50 minutes at a leisurely pace. It’s approximately 10 kilometres.
It felt great to get out of the noisy city for a while. I’m not often out here in the north east, so there were new things to see for me.
And the downhill from the top was not very steep, at least not in many places.
I would definitely recommend this for a getaway on a nice day like yesterday. 🙂

I’m inspired. What a great idea. I will be in Vienna in April, and would love to try one of the wanderwegs. Thanks Tina, as always, for taking us along.
