…is open again. People were enjoying a nice semi-sunny afternoon around Schwedenplatz. The bar is still quite empty, but give it another couple of weeks and it will be bustling with life 🙂
This guy was also completing the wall on the backside. I bet it’ll look great! It already does 🙂
My new instalment that will pop up here every now and then: toilet doors and interior at cool bars. Scribbles and decorations of these intimate rooms fascinates me, and so I thought I’d share this little secret world with you. 🙂
This is the loo at die dondrine on Kirchengasse.
Trying out my new lens after sunset yesterday. It works!! 😀 Quite happy with the quality, and althogh I had no tripod this turned out pretty ok. yay! HRD next!!
This is incidentally one of my favourite little bars along the canal.. only open when it’s warm. It’s totally relaxed/laid back. Can be found on the western side of the canal by the Franzensbrücke.
If you’re of the kind that likes champagne or sparkly wine, there is a very small and intimate champagne-bar (or, sekt-bar that everyone who has been here long enough to forge that that’s not an English word says) that’s worth a visit. Good champagne and nice hosts -as well as a strangely good BLUE champagne coctail. It’s called Szigeti. Only bad thing about it is that it’s a smoking bar.
At the old racecourse in Freudenau, there is a bar that can be rented for private functions. I am not sure if it is open at other times… I was there and found it so cute that one of the staff was a cuddly cat! He kept me company while I was waiting for the rest of the guests to arrive. 🙂
