The trees looked like this about four years ago when I arrived in Vienna. I found it fascinating. I thought it might be bird’s nests, but concluded that there were too many of them. It’s some form of parasitic plant, which doesn’t hibernate in winter.
Yesterday was the big tree-dumping day in Austria. And it seems a LOT of people get real Christmas trees here. Our local dump sites were really full.
Not all of the plants have given up yet 🙂
Ah I love it. I feel happier, alive, in love. Now the trees are in full bloom, so it’s no longer a secret, spring is definitely here.
The autumn colours are starting to show really well now. Not many people out today though… quite a grey and dull day.
Today we have been up in the trees! It had been totally awesome! The weather was smashing, the courses wete great… just a perfect day!
